Redirecting voice mail message using exchange

Hi All,

Pretty new to cisco unified messaging, but I am encountering a problem I can't figure out.

We used unified messaging with 2003 exchange and same scenario worked.

We have since upgraded to cisco unified messaging 8.5 and exchange 2007.

The problem:

I set up a rule in exchange to redirect all messages for a specific user to a gmail acount.

This way the user receives message in outlook as well as gmail.

Except any message received from unified system does not get redirected.

I checked the hub server and these messages do not get sent through hub.

It appears the view to this message get directly inserted into the exchange mailbox,

but the message still resides in cisco unified messaging mail box.

This would mean any exchange rule I implement will not take affect.

How do I get around this?

Thanks All,

Bobby

I believe I found the answer.

Appears this is a bug in unity, and no work around or fix is available at this time.

See below link, big problem if you want to apply rules to your voicemail.
