Rehost CUCM license, it is Mandatory to have new CUCM in Smartnet or any Cisco Support or any type of contract

Hello Team,

Due to the hardware failure we need to arrange a new Be6k from different partners.

What is the process of CUCM license re-hosting.. I know we need to share the new PLM license request file from new and old hardware.

But in my case, Publisher is failed , how i can provide the old license file.

2nd, The new hardware which I am purchasing , Do i need to purchase any software/hardware support contract then only Cisco will support ?

3rd, My original partner has changed.. thus hope I am as an customer and initiate this request directly to Cisco licensing team.

hope your version is not 12.x.

you can rehost the license by opening a ticket from Cisco portal. you don't need a Smartnet or SWSS for opening a case to rehost the license.

For Licensing team to provide the new license, you need to provide any one of the details mentioned below. if not possible to find, contact   local SE.

1. old license request file
2. PAK Key
3. SO Number( if the license and Old Be6k was in a single order, use the Be6k serial on CCWR to find the SO)
4. instance number
