RTMT Session Trace vs. Anti-virus software

I have been using RTMT Session Trace for several months for troubleshooting & monitoring our CUCM 8.6 servers with no issues.  We recently switched from Microsoft Forefront Client Security to Microsoft Endpoint Protection 2012 as our local client A/V.  After doing so, my Session Trace tool stopped working.  I received many errors about unable to open files -- see details below.

After uninstalling Endpoint Protection, the Session Trace tool goes back to working as expected.

So, my question is:  has anyone else experienced this with an AV client and what exclusions are recommended to avoid the issue?  Obviously, I can't continue to run with no virus protection just to keep the Session Trace tool working.

Truncated section of error messages in Session Trace window:

CollectableFileImpl[name=SDL001_100_000110.txt.gzo,absolutePath=/var/log/active/cm/trace/ccm/sdl/SDL001_100_000110.txt.gzo,modifiedDate=Jul 05 15:24:13 GMT 2013,size=112638,componentPath=null,isTrace=true,safeName=SDL001_100_000110.txt.gzo], CollectableFileImpl[name=calllogs_00000037.txt.gzo,absolutePath=/var/log/active/cm/trace/ccm/calllogs/calllogs_00000037.txt.gzo,modifiedDate=Jul 05 15:22:31 GMT 2013,size=52918,componentPath=null,isTrace=true,safeName=calllogs_00000037.txt.gzo]]: error encountered while downloading traces.  Please check RTMT logs for further details.

Today, with no changes to my system or the second system I was working wtih, everything is working fine -- even with the AV software reinstalled & running.
