We have a shared line on multiple phones. Most of the calls on this line are handled by one person. Caller #1 calls in and the call is answered here on phone #1. While on the call another call comes in on the line so Caller #1 is put on hold by the user to take the call from Caller #2. Now a 3rd call comes in on the line. A user here on phone #2 picks up the line to help out. However instead of getting connected to Caller #3 they are getting Caller #1 who has been on hold leaving Caller #3 to keep ringing (hopefully to be answered by phone #3,4 etc). Anyway to ensure that Caller #1 stays on hold at phone #1 in this situation?

We found that in the scenario above when the person at phone #2 selected the shared line button on their phone first they got the caller on hold. However if they just picked up the handset it connected them to caller #3
