Show wrong ANI during call

Hi ti all,

in a customer environment, during a call from an IP phone to PSTN number, the ANI is not show correctly.

Here all details:

Calling number: 0644466580

Called number: 3286214937

ANI showed on receiver display: 064446

 

The steps are:

Cisco phone --> Call Manager 4 --> Voice Gateway Cisco 3825

Users digit 0 to go out

I exclude the problem is on Call Manager, cuz it's very old, and nobody change configuration on it since many years.

 

Below some details i took during troubleshooting:

The Dial peer from Call manager to VG is:

I solved my problem.

In the CUMC, Voice Gateway configuration, in the Call Routing Information - Outbond Calls, I filled the field Caller ID DN with 064446XXXX

Now, every call who go out from that VG, show the correct ANI.

Does this issue happen on every PSTN call from that specific internal 064 number, every call to that specific 328 PSTN number, or some other mix?

Can you please post your running configuration and appropriate debug output from a outbound call in the voice gateway? What debug to run is depending on your setup with PSTN and what protocol you use for call control. Please post these as attachments, not as text in the post, as it makes the post very long and hard to read.

How is your configuration supposed to work, should CUCM be presenting the full calling number, or do you expect it to be fixed up on the gateway.  I second the request to see your configuration in a more readable format, for example to display a dial peer we'd rather see the configuration from "sh run | sec dial-peer voice 6500" as an example.

Just looking at your output your sample call used dial peers 6500 and 1001.  Calling number is 6580 and I can't see anything in the material that you've provided which would change that.

What number is actually being put out to the PSTN (debug isdn q931)?
