Hi,
With SMPP (unity 4.04sr1) you have support for SMPP v3.3 and v3.4. My SMPP provider supporte only SMPP v3,4 in tranceiver mode. Unity seems to support transmitter mode only.
Is there a way to configure unity to be used in tranceiver mode ?
thx

From our in house SMS expert:
==================
When Unity connects, or binds to the SMSC of the SMPP provider, it does so using the BIND_TRANMITTER request. This specifies that we want to be able to send SMS messages. We could, but currently do not, use the BIND_RECEIVER or BIND_TRANCEIVER requests, which says that we want to receive or send/receive SMS messages, respectively.
I am very surprised to hear that any SMSC would not support the BIND_TRANSMITTER request. Sijbren is correct, we do not support the BIND_TRANSCEIVER request at this time.

Ofcourse: here comes the next question:
Is Cisco capable and willing to create a Unity version which supports BIND_TRANSCEIVER request (configurable)
Or do I need to use the PER process.
