Hallo,
We have a client who wants to build a call manager cluster. The client currently has one CM 7.1 server licensed under the traditional DLU licensing model and wants to add 2 servers. Under the old licensing model, he would buy the appliance and the licenses.
We were thinking that he can:
1. buy 2 CM servers (no licenses)
2. upgrade from DLU to CUWL and since CUWL is per user we assume the new servers will have the necessary licenses and there will be no need to buy licenses for the server.
Correct me if I am wrong on that assumption.
Thank you,

When you upgrade from "alacate" to CUWL, you can order (with no cost) licence to 2 more serveres.
Hope this can help you:

Johnny is correct. If you move to Cisco Unified Workspace Licensing, you can add additional server nodes without purchasing separate licensing. Any hardware would still need to be purchased separately.
