We are upgrading UCCX from 7.0(1)SR05 to 8.5.1, after running PUT we got the backup file as

PUTBackup26-Aug-14#14-29.tar

While restoring this file in 8.5.1 system we are getting error message as "Enter a valid backup file" and is unable to proceed

Backup TAR location details given as

SFTP address : x.x.x.x

File path : /

User name : admin

Password : *******

Appreciate your feedback

In the file path, mention the name of the TAR file as well. Eg. /PUTBackup26-Aug-14#14-29.tar

Hi Mathew,

Have u successfully upgraded from 7 to 8?

I did not understand your query  since if you are trying to restore UCCX 7 backup on UCCX 8 , that won't because of different UCCX versions.

Please elaborate.

regds,

aman

Thanks George, UCCX was looking for files inside tar file.
