I just upgraded from 8.6.2 to 10.5.2 both CUCM and Unity Connection. I have run the Device Assignment Tool. We have all our phones associated to users, except for non-user devices like lobby phones, conference phones and ATA’s.
But I have a problem.
Most of my users have only 1 phone. That’s the way it is. The license report assigns them a UCL Enhanced license. But all these users need voicemail and voicemail is only included in CUWL Standard or above licenses.
How do I give all my users a voicemail license (CUWL) without having to create several thousand fake phones and assign 3 or more phones per person so I can get the system to assign them a CUWL license?
