UCM 7.x Interoperate with Alcatel 4400 Release 9.x using SIP

Hi

I am trying to intergate Alcatel 4400 Rel 9 with Cisco UCM 7.x. Customer prefers to integrate using SIP trunk instead of QSIG. I could find documentation neither in Cisco nor in Alcatel site.

Basic requirement to integrate is

- Calling Name

- Redial on Missed calls

- Unity VMS access from Alcatel

If anyone is having idea , please suggest. Your help is very much appreciated

Vijay,

There does not appear to be any config examples on our PBX interop page, so you might not have much prior config to work off. But you can reference other SIP integration config at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/solutions/ns340/ns414/ns728/networking_solutions_products_genericcontent0900aecd805b561d.html

But knowing how our SIP stack works, you should have no problem accomplishign tasks 1, 2 or 3, but you will have to test MWI over SIP back to Alcatel.  That is the only component that I see that would be an 'interop' issue.
