unable to call to CUPC 8.0 when logged in on Windows7

Hi All

I have an odd experience.

I have installed a CUP 8 and 2 CUPC 8. one on a Windows XP machine and the other on a Windows 7 machine. Both 32-bit.

When Logged into the XP machine, I can make in and out bound calls.

When logged into the W7 machine, I can only make outbound calls.

Same user.

Has any one experienced any thing like this?

Hi,

I would start by testing this on several win7 machines

I would also take sniffer traces from both clients (calling and called client) and maybe the callmanager they are registered to.

You should be able to see the sip messages related to the call you made in the sniffer traces

Sorry. I forgot to update this post.

The system was in a demo lab, and on the win7 machine they had a HOSTS file that didn't match.

After correcting this it worked.
