Hi,

Im implementing Extension mobility feature in our new office.. This is a stand alone office with CUCM 8.5.We want this feature for Hotdesking, so that anyone can sit at any cubicle and use the ip phones.

I have done the following setps. But when i tried logging to the Extension mobility service im getting the following error like "Login is Unavailable(11)"

1. Service Activation

2. Creating IP Phone Service and subscribe it to the Device

3. Configuring Service Parameters

4. Creating Device Profile and subscribe the service to it

5. Associating Device profle and device to an End user credential.

Can someone help how to resolve this

Do you have Extension mobility check box checked on the phone?

Please rate useful posts.

Hi George,

Yes It has been enabled..when i press service button it is showing Extension Mobility and asking for credentials..But says "Login is unavailable(11)"

Could you post the console logs from the phone when you try to use Extension mobility?

Please rate useful posts.

Im using Soft phone in Wifi with VPN to connect my my NW..So can you help how to take console in this...

Usually, i plug the ip of the phone (from callmanager) in a web browser and you will see Console logs on the leftside of the page that gets opened.

Error code 11 is device does not exist.

Check your service URL

http://:8080/emapp/EMAppServlet?device=#DEVICENAME#

The #DEVICENAME# tells the phone to replace that string with its SEP... name. If you have made a typo the phone won't supply its name and you will get an error 11.

I can't think what else would give an incorrect phone name.

Graham

Hi

Are you sure you have the 'Extension Mobility' check box enabled...? This is seperate to teh service subscription, there's a checkbox about half way down the phone configuration page which turns it on or off.

Hi All,

The Issue resolved. I deleted the service and added it again. Similarly, subscribed the service again in the Device profile and phone also. It worked... Now im able to login to the Service.

Thanks for all of your support.

I don't know if this was the cause of your problem but I recently ran into the same issue.  Users trying to login received the error message: Login is Unavailable (11).

The root cause was phones in the system configured with lowercase letters in the MAC address.  This was from an older version which had been upgraded to 9.1.  Once the MAC addresses were corrected with all uppercase letters, the issue was resolved.

TAC told me that version 9 is very particular about the MAC having all capital letters.  I was not able to replicate the issue by changing letters to lower case because the system would auto-correct them to uppercase.  So what we ended up doing to replicate it was to use BAT to import the phones with lowercase letters.  I've asked TAC to generate a Bug ID for this so that BAT can either auto-correct the letters to be uppercase or to reject the import and make the user fix it.

This fixed my issue during an upgrade from 8.6(2a)SU2 to SU3. Did you get a Bug ID out of the TAC?

Unfortunately no, TAC never did give me the Bug ID if one was generated.  I know they have to go back into the lab and replicate the issue so it can take a while to generate it.  Either the bug search toolkit is not very good or I am not very good at using it, but I haven't been able to fine a Bug ID related to the issue I ran into with the lowercase letters in the MAC.

Hi.. This resolved my issue

I had the same issue of "Login is Unavailable(11)".

I resolved by doing "Update Subscription" in the extension mobility service.
