Just wondering, for Cisco Unified Personal Communicator and Unified Presence, can all IM messages be saved on a customer central server (i.e., auto save)? This is for audit and compliance requirements

Hi, There is a way to get a log of the IM's..
Management asked if it were possible in an even a user is audited..
Provided you know what port on the switch the user is on. I ran WireShark on the LAN.. IM's are sent in plain text, so was able to pick up the messages as they were sent.
Not ideal if you dont need to, but can be done.
