Unity 4.0(4), schema extention and forrest trust

Is the following setup supported with Unity 4.0(4):

- the customers exchange environment is in forrest A, there are NO schema extentions possible

- the user accounts and the Unity server are located in forrest B, there are schema extentions possible

- there is a trust between both forrests, accouns in forest a get permissions on the mailboxes in forrest A

- between both forrests a synchronization of accounts, contacts and distribution lists is done with MIIS

Any experiences with setups like this one?

Background is that the customers policy prevents us from doing a schema extention in his exchange environment

I have never heard of this type of configuration before but I can say for 100% certain that Unity won't be able to work in this configuration. Unity can't support more than one forest at a time.

Maybe if they did allowed a schema change in Forest A it could work because users technically have an account in both forests. But even then some client authentication might get dicey. But this is all moot since they don't allow the schema change in Forest A.
