Even if this wasn't an upgrade for you, I would check in your services to see if the TOMCAT service is there. If it is not, you can attempt the work-around. Although I did not see this error, I did have one server that did not successfully install the TOMCAT service for 4.2(1). I worked with TAC and had to reinstall Unity on the server. Two other servers did not have this same problem.

Hi -
For your first error, I have seen this before on one of my servers during an upgrade. The problem was with the CD media. I needed to re-download the software from Cisco and recreate the CD. On the other error, did you check on the server to see if the TOMCAT service was created?
