unity 8.0 MWI issue after changing partner server from Exch 2007 to 2010

Hi,

I just recently changed partner server from exchange 2007 to 2010, but also company has moved all mail boxes from exchange 2007 to 2010. I find that Cisco Unity subscribers that show the exchange 2010 as mail server have no issues with MWI. The subscribers in Unity that show exch 2007 as their mail server have MWI issues, where it does not turn on and off.

I deleted a subscriber from Unity that had mail server as exch2007 and add the user back into unity, now showing exchange 2010 as mail server and MWI works now for this subscriber. Is this the only way to resolve this? if I have to delete all users and add them back into Unity, is there a bulk delete feature. Do I have to delete these users and add them back for MWI to work?

Nki,

Have you tried doing a AD/GC resynch?

You can do a resync by clicking on force reconnect for AD and GC from DC/GC Reconnect settings tool.

Alternatively, you can do a restart of the AvDSAD and AvGlobalCatalog services to do a resynch.
