Unity connection 8.0x, CCM 8.02, Exchange 2007.
External service configured and test works fine - returns imap port, calendar ports open etc.
However when I do a test within the user page I get an error : 'system failed to do an imap operation ' (same with calendar) - service ports comeback succesfully.
Tomcat log shows 'bad response from server, error http code 403 returned for webdav.
Class of service settings enabled for external mailstore access. Certs from CA loaded on Connection server.(this is also connected to Presence server and Calendar integration works fine).

Jeff,
Chances are Exchange is taking longer to produce a response back to UC than the timeout UC is configured for. On UC, go to System Settings>Advanced>External Services and edit the default "Time to Wait for a Transcription Response before Timing Out (seconds)" to something considerably high.

thanks for the reply, good point. I had already seen that in the troubleshooting guide and bumped it up from 4 to 140 but this did not have any affect.
