Unity Connection 8.5.1.11900-21 Cisco Serviceability Reporter not starting

Hi All,

Would need some help regarding an issue that we have. We have 2 Unity connection servers and when we try to start the

Cisco Serviceability Reporter nothing happens, the service stays deactivated. Looking into the event logs in only shows the following:

%UC_SERVICEMANAGER-1-ServiceActivationFailed: %[ServiceName=Cisco Serviceability Reporter][Reason=Unsuccessful completion][ErrorString=][AppID=Cisco Service Manager][ClusterID=][NodeID=CMUCX-01]: Failed to activate a service.

Tried to look for bugs but haven't found any.

Any idea? Maybe on what logs should I look into?

Hi All,

For all who might have the same issue. Found out from Cisco that Unity Conn 8.5 shouldn't have that service running, and also it shouldn't be listed under Services. In version 8.5 it is integrated somewhere. In previous versions though and also in version 9 the service is back again and can be started, etc...
