Unity Connection 8.5 Monitoring

Is there an easier or better way to monitor Connection's status than

using RTMT and a Kiwi Syslog box? I do not like the fact that if I log off of the server running RTMT it closes RTMT until I login and start up again. Is there a way to run RTMT as a service? Any suggestions?

Can you explain what you are trying to monitor on it?    You can configure SNMP alerts to be sent if you are worried about one the MIBs.   Or SMTP alerts.  Its based off the same code as CUCM and the alert configuration should be similar.

If you're talking about Unity Connection port monitoring, have you checked out Connection Remote Port Status Monitor:

As Tommer mentioned, you'll have to describe the type of monitoring you're looking for (SNMP, etc)
