Just installed Unity Connection and we are doing some testing before cutover. One of the first items is to get the Helpdesk on board. I see the roles for Helpdesk administrator and this fits the bill perfectly. We've set up a user called helpdesk and assigned it the Helpdesk admin role. Question is how does this user log in? Also is there a way to have an a user (like me) log in with AD credentials?
Everybody uses the same page (CUC admin), what you see and can do, depends on the roles you have assigned.
On AD questions, yes, assuming you're an user and that CUC is LDAP configured for sync and authentication, you can also grant you roles.
