Unity Connection 8.6 Outlook integration question

We recently moved from Unity 7.0 to Unity Connection 8.6. When a voicemail is left the person recieved the email with the wav file attached. I'm being told that is a person had their "out of office" message set in Outlook - with Unity the caller would receive an "out of office" reply via email. With Unity Connection this isn't happening. No out of office message is being sent to the person that left the voicemail in their Outlook inboc.

This is working as intended. Unity Connection posts the message to the Inbox folder of the mailbox. Because of this none of the Exchange-side processing rules including out of office messages apply. It's essentially equivleent to the user drag-and-droping an email message into that folder. The user can activate the Alternate Greeting on their mailbox if they wish the caller to hear that they are out of the office.
