I work for a school district. We have CUCM 9 and CUC 9. We are looking to set up an AA for one school who receives more calls than they can answer.
My question is this:
Can I restrict the internal extensions callers can dial from the AA to those at the school? The school has numbers in the range 19XXX. If possible I don't want to allow parents to call this school's AA and reach extensions at other schools or sites within the district. The Unity system is of course district wide.
Example: School with AA is 19XXX. Dialing any 19XXX will work. Dialing 24XXX (which is another school not intended for this AA) should fail.
I was looking at directory handlers but that seems to be for dialing by name. I don't intend to activate that feature.

Hi Scott,
You should be able to leverage the Unity Connection partition &
search space configs to manage how these directory searches work

Yes, configure the restriction tables as you need.

But if we later on need to add a second AA for another site, would this idea still work? I thought restriction tables were system wide, not specific to a particular call handler.
