Unity connection timers for greetings , Auto attendant configuration.

Hello All

I have configured auto attendant on a voicemail box rather than a call handler as I only have 4 caller inputs. The problem is that after a callers reach the auto attendant and listens to the standard greeting I have recorded, there is no pause before unity prompts the listener to leave a message.

How do I add a pause after the greeting or stop the prompt altogether as I don't want users to leave a message in the voicemail box if it can be helped?

System is cucmbe 8.6.

Thanks in advance

Feisal

Is there any good docs out there for auto attendant?

The Unity admin guide doesn't have many AA scenarios.

Hi Feisal,

There's no way to add configurable delay.  The easiest way is to record trailing silence after your standard greeting for however long you want.

Hope that helps,

Brad

Hi Feisal,

On the Greeting page for the mailbox, use these settings

*

This will allow you to give some time before the message beep.

For AA/Call Handler creating, I highly recommend;

Audiotext Manager for Connection
