Unity Express script - check list of dates

Is it possible to get a Unity Express script to check either a list of dates or a date range?  We have a requirement for a script to do something different during a specific date range.  I know there's a few ways in UCCX to check a list of dates but cannot see how to do the same in CUE - any pointers or examples would be most welcome.  Thanks.

Unfortunately CUE doesn't allow you to read the current date, except for the Is Holiday step.  You'd have to put in the days as holidays.
