Hello All,
We have a Unity Connection integrated with CUCM (both 12.5) and we want Unity to request users to change PIN the first time they access to the voicemail. We have checked the "User Must Change at Next Sign-In" parameter but a locution is heard without giving the users the option to change credentials or access voicemail by dialing the known extension.
This parameter force the users to change the pin via Selfcare portal? is there any way to change the pin by calling voicemail pilot?
Thanks in advance
Juan

if you enabled User Must Change at Next Sign-In on CUCM, it will be from selfceare portal.
if you enable User Must Change at Next Sign-In on unity connection, the user will be asked to change the pin when accessing the voicemail.
Unity connection can use the same CUCM PIN. you can follow below link to learn more.

Thanks for your answer Nithin.
I have not found the "User Must Change at Next Sign-In" checkbox on CUCM, In any case, we don't want to sync the PIN to use the same in both CUCM and CUCxN.
We want CUCxN to:
- Ask for the PIN always even when the user is calling from him/her extension
(Skip PIN When Calling From a Known Extension --> Disabled)
- During Voicemail self-enrolment, user must be forced to set/change his/her own PIN number for VM access
As far as I know the last topic is achieved by ticking "User Must Change at Next Sign-In" but when you call Voicemail a generic locution is heart and there is no posibility to change the PIN.
Could you help with this?
Thanks¡

Changing the pin from message menu is explains in the below document.
if you receive ""hello cisco unity connection messaging system" message when accessing voicemail means unity connection is unable to find DN match. And you are not in users mailbox.

Thanks Nithin,
The locution is the same when you access from the PSTN and the user waits for being transferred to an Operator or leave a message. Could it be possible that, at this stage, the user must dial her/his extension to start the self-enrollment?
Thanks
