UNITY Message Waiting LIght for Shared Line and Speed Dial

We have a general delivery mailbox.  When a message is in that mailbox, we want a message waiting light to appear on other phones uniquely.  I tried doing this by just adding a shared line for that mailbox, but the light on the 7841 line key does not illuminate regardless of how I set the indicator Visual Message Indicator policy on the DN line appearance?  How best to achieve the desired result?

Also a way to push a button and check that voice mail box with out having to call Unity Pilot enter * and the extension and pw?  Any way to create a speed dial to automate that?
