Unity Upgrade Licensing from v4.0.5 to v7.0.2 via CUWL

We have an existing (7) Unity 4.0.5 servers and consolidating them to (3) Unity 7.0.2. We purchased a Unity upgrade from version 4.0 to 7.0 via CUWL. We didn't get any PAK's related to Unity upgrade that we purchased.

Can somebody point us to the correct process of getting the upgrade  license files for the (3) new Unity servers?

Appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,

Neil

You'll want to have your sales order ID for the ugprade and send an email to licensing@cisco.com.  It's good to have a subject indicative of what you're looking for like "CUWL Upgrade for Unity 4x to 7x".  If you are installing Unity on new server(s), provide the old MAC of Unity clearly and then the new MAC address for Untiy as well.  You should receive a PAK code with the media but if you did not, TAC can help you to get a PAK code and get licensed appropriately.

Thanks for the info.

Additional info as well.  In Unity 4, there was a distinct difference between voicemail only and Unified Messaging licensing.  In Unity 5, this distinction goes away.  If you are already UM, then you may not care but if you are a voicmail only deployment - your new licences will provide the abilty to do voicemail only or Unified Messaging for users.  The only limitation is that you do not exceed the total number of licenses you paid for.  So, in other words - Unity is now considered Unified Messaging and can provide voicemail only.  Unity Connection is voicemail only or Integrated Messaging (i.e., only Unity can do UM).  You should see this reflected in your license - if you do not, then you'll want to get that corrected by TAC.  As long as you are current on support, the change applies to you without additional licensing costs.
