Unity Voicemail Audio Streams

When a user dials in on their phone to check a voicemail, callmanager is involved for call setup. Once unity begins to stream the audio back to the phone does:

1. the audio stream go directly from Unity to the phone?

or

2. the audio stream go to callmanager first and then to the phone.
