Hey Everyone,

I am running unity 8 with failover in an exchange 2010 environment.

I keep getting the following warnings in the event viewer for certain users.

eNOTIFYQ_ACTION_MSG_NEW [2]

and

eNOTIFYQ_ACTION_UPDATE_MAILUSER

Any idea why I am getting these?

Normally those errors show up when you experience either MWI issues or no access to voicemail for one or multiple users, if it is the case i would make sure that the main Unity accounts have right permissions and that your Unity server is pointing to the correct Exchange server, since at this point i dont know if we are talking about a mixed environment between Exchange 2010 and a different version.

We are migrating from 2k7 to 2010. Weird part is this user has been moved over for a while working just fine.

Have you tried to delete the user from Unity and re-import him from AD? Since just one user is affected i wouldn't try to troublshoot the entire system, if after that the user is still having issue you might try to backup the mailbox in Exchange using something like Exmerge or any other tool you use to back up and delete the user from Unity, Exchange and recreat him completely. Unity will see him as a new user so any corrupted data will dissapear.
