upgrade cucm 7.1.5 to 9.1.2 in lab

hello,

I have to upgrade a cluster by virtualizing CUCM 7.1.5 to 9.1.2.

In my lab, I can only the possibility to have 3 CUCM up (restrictions hardware).

I have 7 servers(1 PUB and 6 SUB) in my clsuter.

My question: should I have all 7 servers up in my lab to be able to upgrade?
