Below I have included 3 links from CISCO's website. They all lead to specific documents. When doing an upgrade you should keep a few things in mind. 1. What version do you have currently and what version are you upgrading to. 8.6 has more than on sub version if you will. I know of at least 2. (8.6.1 and 8.6.2). 2. You should always seek and follow at least these 3 documents for each upgrade you do. The names of these documents are to the right of the links. Every version upgrade that CISCO does comes with these docs. You should take the time to look them over and follow their suggestions, otherwise you may create issues in which you cannot recover from. The "CUCM Operating System Administration Guide" has also been named "Upgrade Guide" for other versions. Pay close attention to chapter 7 of this guide. It gives you step by step instructions for your upgrade to this particular version of CUCM. Hope this helps and good luck!
