upgrade uccx 8.01 to 8.02 require new license ?

Question here, if upgrade the uccx fron ver 8.01 to 8.02 require new license ? Or need to apply new license from cisco license team ? Pls advice. Thanks,

Hello,

No , the license are needed only when you do a major upgrade , this is a maintaince upgrade , everything will work normally without any additional license.

This is the ordering guide for the contact center , as i understand from it , you need to order a upgrade from 8.0 to 8.5 (not minor) and there is a upgrade fees unless you have active UCSS

moving cross 8.0 does not need any license ,,

but moving from 8.0 to 8.5 requires upgrade license ,,
