Strange one this.
Just upgraded from CUCM / CUP 10.5.2 to 11.5 and now, for around 80% of the time, people are receiving duplicate messages on Jabber (11.5/11.7 on Windows). Cant see where or how to diagnose this? It was all fine before on CUCM 10.5.2.
Has anyone seen this before, or know where I could start to debug? Note this is an MRA deployment with Expressway X8.8.
Thank you
James

Does that happen only for messages over MRA? or/and on-prem?
Do you have any compliance server?

We use MRA exclusively, its not hosted on-prem but in the cloud so all our employees connect through MRA from their remote location.
No compliance server.
Thanks

We are having the same issue.

We think this is a bug, but we resolved it by turning off multi device messaging. This is a new feature that relays any messages you receive to all clients you have signed in as the same user.
If you dont care for this, you can turn it off. In the IM&P Administration panel, under
System > Service Parameter Configuration > Choose IM&P server > Choose Cisco XCP router
Enable Multi-device Messaging: False
Once saved you need to restart the Cisco XCP Router service from the IM&P Serviceability panel and then restart Jabber.
