We currently have a customer that is currently running the BE6000 10.0 release, but this customer is also going to get a second BE6000 installed. We want the CUCM on the second BE6000 to be in the same cluster as the CUCM on the first BE6000 system.
This existing BE6000 system has CUCM 10.0, IM and Presence 10.0, Unity Connection 10.0, and Informacast paging. How do we go about upgrading the BE6000 software on the existing system from 10.0 to 10.5? How long does it take to do the 10.0 to 10.5 upgrade?
Should the upgrade occur on the existing BE6000 system before installing the second BE6000 system, or should we install the second BE6000 system first and then upgrade both of the BE6000 systems?

There is absolutely nothing special in regards to upgrading a 6K, it's the exact same procedure whether it's a 6K, 7K or enterprise, for any of the products you can use in 6K.
Review the upgrade guide, RNs, and new and changed docs for all the products you wish to upgrade prior to the procedure to take into account any changes you might need to do.
The second question is completely up to you, it makes no difference to install and then upgrade, or upgrade and then install the other box.
