I have a customer who has made a major investment in 3850 switches. Assuming the 3850 that is replacing an existing 3750 has the same IP, same SNMP, etc., will CER recognize the existing configuration of ports from the previous 3750?
Hi Chris, you would need to save the configuration of the previous switch and move in to the new one as for the actual IPs their might be some changes depending on the network and you may have to alter some of them in the config.
So it won't pick it up automatically if the IP and SNMP settings stay the same from old switch to new switch?
