Various types of Licensing in Cisco Unified Communications Manager

Hi,

I installed CUCM version 12.0 and Licenses are managed by Smart Software Manager satellite Enhanced Edition Version 6.1.0 unfortunately I am somehow confused on which licenses to be purchased.

This CUCM will accommodate 50 physical phone (CP-7821) and 350 CIPs (Cisco IP Communicator).

Which license to be purchased? because I found the following types of Licenses (License Requirements by Type):

• CUWL
• Enhanced Plus
• Enhanced
• Basic
• Essential
• TelePresence Room

Essentially it comes down how many devices and what type of devices users will be using, and what additional features are needed, i.e voicemail.  

As an example CUWL Standard allows a user to have up to 10 devices and voicemail.

UCL Enhancement covers single device of most Cisco models.

UCL Enhanced Plus covers 2 devices.
