VG224 delete phone

Hi

I am trying to do some maintenance on my VG224.  I have a phone that is no longer in use.  I have unassociated the mac address from the DN and but I wan to know if I can just delete the device so it will unregister or if I need to do some other procedure?

You can just delete the device, but why bother?

Does this port send registration attempts to the log if there is no DN associated ?  If not , I will just leave it
