View Unity backup log file to check for error code

Hi,

I have a question about Cisco Unified Communications (Unity). I am running System version: 7.1.3.32900-4. Backups for unitymbxdb1 are failing and I can't view the entire log file because it is truncated in the browser. I would like to copy the file to another device so that I can view the file itself. i.e. ftp to ftp server where I can view the text file. I am currently trying this via CLI but if I can transfer via gui, that is fine too.

Hi Ricky,

You can use the Real Time Monitoring Tool ( RTMT ) to download any trace from Unity Connection or CUCM Linux based versions. The procedure is given in various posts / docs , you can check the one below

You will need the traces for DRF Master Agent and Local Agent services.
