VM ware tools not installed

After a update of the VMware Server - the vmware tools on the callmanager are out-of-date.

In the vSphere client, i try to update the tools over GUEST-> Install upgrade VMware Tools

1 Attempt:

-> The Tools are only uninstalled

2. Attempt

-> the Software show this message:

and the tools are not installed.

What can i do, to install the Tools? I restart the Server, but the tools can not installed.

In my case it happened to me with UCCX 10.6(1)

the workarounds did not fix my issue.

Only Cisco TAC solve that by remote access and root access.
