In our data center we are in the process of transitioning one of our existing racks from 110V/3PH power to 208V/3PH power for a future UCS installation. Currently, there is 110V equipment running within the rack. Before that equipment is decomissioned and moved though, a 6140 fabric interconnect must be installed and configured in the same rack. I noticed that the 6140 is rated for 110-240V power, so I can easily rack it anytime...
But, my question is this: During the cutover process to 208V power in the rack, can the 6140 survive on split 110/208V power across both of its power supplies? (In other words, PSU #1 receives 110V in and PSU #2 receives 208V in.)
I ask because, if possible, I would like to do this so I can keep the 6140 powered up and in service during the entire electrical cutover process.
Thanks in advance for any help provided. Much appreciated!
