Hi,
I have a problem with UCS FI-Cisco UCS 6454, after the power outage, I see this message in the photo attached,
cisco UCS Login Error: Cannot login to UCSM from subordinate node.
I have checked everything but still get the same error.
The only thing I didn't try was restarting the subordinate Fabric; I don't know what the outcome will be.
If i restart will ti solve the problem or is it not relevant??
i tryed to make the FI-A the primary and its working well right now,and i shoud use the Cluster ip insted of FI

Are BOTH UCS FIs up? Or just one FI?
What is the output if you SSH to the FI(s) and run commands:
show cluster state
show cluster extended-state
If the two UCS FIs haven't formed a HA cluster, then maybe that is causing that error.
Also the phrasing in your question. With UCS FI-A is not always primary and FI-B not always subordinate. These ebb and flow based on timing and last to boot and generally irrelevant to day-to-day operations. So if you are connecting to FI-A and thinking it is always "primary", that is NOT true. You should (almost) always only use the FI VIP (virtual IP, cluster IP).

Thanks Steven for you replay, i was using the wrong way to login to the UCS Fabric, once i used the VIP IP it works fine,

Ideally, you will be not able to take a GUI session to the UCS manger through the subordinate FI IP address. The virtual IP and the primary IP address will work.
