CIMC Launch KVM Console HTML based

Hi There,

in UCS C M4 Series you get also the HTML based KVM Console in CIMC after having upgraded to FW Revision 3 and later.

How about M3 Series?

I noticed after upgrading a M3 Server to some version 3.0.4, that the CIMC GUI is still looking as like with version 2 and earlier and KVM remains still Java based only.

any idea?

The BMC hardware needed to support the HTML5 interface and KVM are present in the M4 and higher servers.

Has there been any reconsideration to bringing the HTML 5 UI to M3 hardware? I'm surprised it can support Flash, but not HTML 5.

Chrome / modern browsers are no longer supporting Flash come 2020 - how will we access CIMC going forward?

I am putting together my first home lab and am starting with a Cisco UCS C460 M2.  I can access the CIMC KVM from the Palemoon browser.
