Hi
I have purchased some additional HDDs for my Cisco UCS C240 M3 server
Currently I have 16x 300GB SAS drives in a RAID 10 array and would like to add 8 more.
In IMC - Storage - Physical Drive Info they show up as unconfigured good.
How can I either;
1. Add the additional HDDs to the existing array, without deleting the exising data?
2. Add another Virtual Drive in RAID 10?
The server is running ESXi v5.5
Thanks

Steve,
Adding more disks to your existing array without losing data should be an option of your storage array 1-to work, I think it is called Online Expansion something for the LSI RAID controllers.
2-I hope this helps you: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/servers-unified-computing/ucs-c-series-rack-servers/whitepaper_c07-732029.html ; <<< I hope you meant to add another virtual RAID 10, if not let me know.
