ESXi 5.0 upgrade to 6.0 in a UCS BE6000

Good day everyone,

I have a a question recgarding Cisco Server BE6000, I have all my collaboration applications here and I was wondering if ther is any guide or special steps to take care if  I'm upgrading the platform from ESXi 5.0 to ESX 6.0 ????

Greetings.

Please check with http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Unified_Communications_in_a_Virtualized_Environment to make sure all your UC apps are supported with ESXi 6.0.

Please make sure you have worked out an ESXi 6 license upgrade with your account team, as the 5.0 license will reset to 60 day trial after you upgrade.

Use a Cisco customized ISO image from VMware's site.

Check the UCS interop matrix to make sure your server's firmware supports the ESXi version, and also what drivers you may still need to update after the upgrade at: http://www.cisco.com/web/techdoc/ucs/interoperability/matrix/matrix.html
