ESXi 6.7 U3 Image

We have a number of CISCO USC ESXi hosts

UCSC-C240-M4L
UCSC-C220-M3L
UCSC-C220-M3S
UCS-E140S-M2/K9
UCSC-C240-M3S
UCSC-C240-M3L
UCSC-C240-M4SX
UCSC-C460-M4

I checked these models for compatibility and looks like they all support ESXi 6.7. I would like to upgrade these to below base line

VersionRelease Name / DateBuild Number
ESXi 6.7 P01ESXi670-201912001 12/05/201915160138

Looking for CISCO Custom image, I could only find ESXi 6.7 U3 which is build number 14320388.

1) Would you know if there is a new CISCO GA release of 6.7 ?

2) If not, should I just stick with the image? Or is it Ok to upgrade current ESXi 6.5 with the image and then patch it to 15160138 using VUM?

Asking because I worked with another hardware vendor and they advised to use VUM for security patches only!

Thanks and Regards,

See my response under posting:

To answer your questions directly:

1) No. ESXi 6.7u3 GA was the only "Cisco custom" .iso released and there isn't a newer 6.7u3.

2) You should be able to upgrade from ESXi 6.5 to 6.7 patch 15160138 with VUM. You should test as VUM can mistakenly remove important Cisco drivers (like enic and fnic). Boot to the prior/working ESXi version with [shift-r] if the upgrade doesn't work for whatever reason.
