We have a Flexpod system with a UCS 5108 chassis, B200-M5 blades, 6248 FI, Nexus 9K, and NetApp storage. It is connected and configured using the CVD document; however, when exporting VMs from ESX, the file transfer is horribly slow and times out most of the time. I ran a sniffer on the receiving laptop and saw a lot of fragmented packets. Further captures in ESX show large packets (MTU > 16000) coming from the vmk0 interface and through the vSwitch. When it hits the UCS vnic, the packets get fragmented to 1500 bytes. The vmk0 interface is configured to MTU = 1500, and the vSwitch is 1500. Not understanding why the packets are coming out so large. I have a support ticket open with VMware, but was curious if anyone else had run into this issue.
