iscsi on 1000v showing 6 paths per volume

I added my iscsi vmks into the nexus 1000v but I am confused on why I am getting 6 paths per device/volume.

there are 2 vmknics so each ip to the iscsi device has 3 paths per ip.

any idea?

When it was on a standard dvs, I was only getting 2 path per vmknic.

ok I rebooted host an now it shows only 2 paths.

another question

it it sufficient to have only 2 vnics on the sevice profile that include

vmware management

vmotion

iscsi

n1kcontrol

n1kpaket

n1kmgmt

vm data

or do I need to separate out the iscsi to another pair of vnics?
