The L1/L2 ports are for clustering two 6100's together. Use a regular Cat5 cable to connect the L1 on switch1 to the L1 port on switch2 and do the same with the L2 ports. Then console to the first switch and run through the setup dialogue. If the L1/L2 ports are connected properly when configuring the second switch you can set it up as a secondary and the clustering will be automatically configured.
