HI

In the project , I have two UCS 5108 Blade Chassis(AC), the IO module is 2108,and FI is 6120XP configuational

UCSM version is 2.1(3a)

My UCSM can't discover the Chassis

the error logging is

Code           ID

F0402        4545035        Chassis has invaild FRV

F0400        4545037         CHassis connectivity  configuational is unknowledge

F0543        4545034        IOM4/1(A) connectivity was unknowledge

Is the 2108 too new, then my old FI can't support?

you probably mean 2208 not 2108 ?

- How many links do you have between IOM and 6120 ?

- is this happening with both chassis

- is it happening with only IOM per chassis or both IOM ?

- did you ack the chassis, so it discovers the topology ?

Hi

From what I can see you have the following chassis PID: UCSB-5108-AC2 if this is the case the reason it won't discover is because your UCSM is not running the minimum firmware required by this chassis which is 2.2(1b). if you upgrade your firmware to that version your chassis will discover.

see release notes below its under table 5. If you have an chassis with PID: N20-C6508 then make sure to have at least the same number of IOM links defined in your link policy.
