Hi Everybody,
How best populate memory DIMM on B200M3 if I have 2CPU and 12x8GB RAM (96GB tot)?
A0, B0, C0, A1, B1, C1 E0, F0, G0, E1, F1, G1 (pag.42) or:
A0, E0, B0, F0, C0, G0, D0, H0, A1, E1, B1, F1  (pag.41,43) ???

Hi Paomas,

For better performance you want do the following configuration

A0, E0, B0, F0, C0, G0, D0, H0, A1, E1, B1, F1  (pag.41,43)

If you see in page 42 they don't recommend that configuration for performance reason, see attach screenshot

My doubt derives from the fact that in the table the only possible configuration with 6 DIMMs per CPU is just A0, B0, C0, A1, B1, C1 E0, F0, G0, E1, F1, G1.
Why there is no row in the table with the configuration A0, E0, B0, F0, C0, G0, D0, H0, A1, E1, B1, F1?

Thx for your reply but I still doubt: with the configuration A0, B0, C0, A1, B1, C1 E0, F0, G0, E1, F1, G1 (page 42) would be used three channels (A, B and C) with the same amount of RAM;
with the configuration A0, E0, B0, F0, C0, G0, D0, H0, A1, E1, B1, F1 channels used would be 4 (A, B, C and D) but the first two with 16gb RAM and the last two with just 8GB RAM.
Regards
